We run monthly open first aid courses in Fort William, with 12 places.

We are often fully booked weeks in advance, but we ALWAYS run an 'open course', even for 1 person.

In the last year we have delivered First Aid training and Mental Health courses in Fort William, Lochaber, Inverness, Oban, Glencoe, Argyll and Bute, Mallaig, Fort Augustus, Inverness, Elgin, Nairn, Skye, Iona, Eigg, Thurso, Wick, Applecross and Edinburgh.
We have used nearly every type of building from barns to castles, yurts, huts, forests and even a whisky distillery.
2024 is busier, so please book early to get the dates you want.

We never cancel a course for low numbers, we will even run the course with 1 person!

What first aid course do you need?
Emergency First Aid at Work
6 hour, 1 day basic first aid course for low risk roles
+ F Forestry Emergency First Aid
8 hour, 1 day course for forestry and land
First Aid at Work
18 hour, 3 day course for those with large team, lots of customers or high risk enviroments
16 hr Outdoor First Aid
16 hour, 2 day course for outdoor instructors, guides and coaches
Revalidation First Aid at Work
12 hour, 2 day revalidation for First Aid at Work
8 hr Outdoor First Aid
8 hour, 1 day course for lower risk outdoor activities
Simply book an 'add +F Forestry' on the same date as your main course and you can do the extra module after your main courses finishes if you are doing the First Aid at Work and Revalidation for the First Aid at Work.

If you are doing the Outdoor First Aid we will cover the extra module with in the course time.

Mental Health First Aid courses in the Highlands and Islands
What levels of Mental Health courses and who are the designed for?
Level 4 Mental Health Awareness 4 hours
Short 4 hour course for those that is for those who are in a strategic position such as senior managment, entrepreneurs and other leaders. This general overview means they can understand the effect of mental health on the workplace and how to support the Mental Health First Aiders.
Level 5 Mental Health First Aid 1 Day
1 day or 6 hours for those who supervise or manage staff and need a greater understanding of mental health.
