Emergency First Aid

This course is perfect for the smaller workplace with few health and safety risks, where a nominated person is needed to take control in the event of an accident or illness.

Check in the First Aid Needs Assessment, if your workplace is of a low hazard and there are less than 25 employees.

Course Content

• The role of the first aider, including first aid kits,incident reports and incident management
• Outline of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
• Control of bleeding
• Burns and scalds
• Shock
• Choking
• Treatment of the unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Delegates may also ask to cover any specific conditions or injuries they think may be relevant to their workplace.
