A two-day, 16-hour Outdoor First Aid course meeting the first aid requirements of Mountain Training, British Mountain Guides, Scottish Canoe Association, and Paddle UK. Also ideal for anyone working in remote and rural environments — estate workers, ghillies, stalkers, rangers, and environmental project staff where emergency services response times are long.
Covers casualty management, hypothermia, trauma, and emergency evacuation. Delivered in a practical, active style by a working mountaineering instructor, mountain leader, and kayak leader.
Run monthly in Fort William — never cancelled for low numbers. Available at your site across the Highlands and Islands.
