Learners and clients include Ministry of Defence personnel, the Outward Bound Trust, the Abernethy Trust, the National Trust for Scotland, Mowi, Bakkafrost, AMP Energy, the University of the Highlands and Islands, and a wide range of forestry operators, estates, sports coaches, and community organisations from Lochaber to the Outer Hebrides.

"150 coures a year across the Highlands and Islands"
Simon has lived and worked in the Highlands for thirteen years, based in Corpach near Fort William. His background is in outdoor education — mountaineering instructor, kayak leader, canyon guide — and he holds a postgraduate qualification in education. Eighteen years of first aid training delivery, specialising in remote, rural and industrial first aid means he knows what a casualty in a remote or demanding setting actually looks like.
